TREATMENT AND CARE PROGRAMME

London Wound Healing Centre has extensive knowledge and facilities to provide comprehensive wound care assessment and treatment under one roof.

Once the assessment results have been analysed, our team will work in conjunction with the patient’s General Practitioner and Community Nursing Services to devise a comprehensive care programme. This will be individually tailored to the patient’s needs and aim to achieve wound healing with a minimum of inconvenience. By maintaining regular communication between all parties we endeavour to ensure that care is continuous and can be rapidly adapted as needs change. We will also place a large emphasis on education and provide instruction on home wound care, dressing schedules and ways to protect wounds from further injury.

London Wound Healing Centre is perfectly located on the grounds of a major NHS-district hospital in the Northeast of London. We anticipate that patients will visit us on a regular basis for treatment and review. Access to other specialised services, such as surgery, diabetes care, podiatry and pain management, can be provided on site. In this way we hope to minimise the time wasted travelling to and from appointments.
