If you are serious about creating truly realistic sounding solo and accompaniment guitar stuff for your songs, our product called RealGuitar is just what you need. RealGuitar is a sample-based virtual instrument with an innovative approach to guitar sound modeling and guitar part performing on keyboard.
We've carefully and meticulously recorded high quality samples of each fret of all acoustic guitar strings. RealGuitar sample library includes not only sustain sounds, but also other guitar-specific sounds and noises with dynamics and nuances an experienced performer can get from his/her instrument.
Version 6 supports external guitar FX processors which are important to create a realistic guitar part. Our experts have thoroughly examined guitar tones used in most popular songs played by greatest guitarists and came up with more than two hundred authentic presets which sound similar to what they heard, ready to be used in your next song. We recommend to use open-source Guitarix.vst virtual guitar amp as a robust and versatile solution to use these presets. Combining a virtual guitar and an FX processor allows you to store a guitar sound and an FX processor preset at the same time, which a real time saver.
In order to record an authentic accompaniment track, most session guitarists carefully study characteristic rhythm parts for the required style. We created a huge rhythm library consisting of 1250 patterns. It can be easily used for quickly creating guitar accompaniment parts in the DAW or in our internal Song sequencer.
Sophisticated humanization algorithms vary samples, technique and control parameters, timing, chord strum aspects to reach best possible realism in guitar tracks. That helps you bring a digitally simulated guitar performance maximally close to an analog recording of a best-in-class session guitarist.
Each of the Musiclab guitar models has been converted to NKS compatibility allowing browsing of the presets and modes of each guitar VST plugins from the NKS browser, full control over the available parameters, library artwork and preset sound previews.
The Free Download Version contains a handful of presets to test how the NKS installation and compatibility will work. You can download and install this for free to test things out before purchasing the full NKS browser pack.
This ground-breaking software instrument allows keyboardists to include the full, authentic tone of acoustic guitars in their music. The harmonic resonances of guitar strings, and especially the way these resonances shift with each note played, are not captured by sampled guitar synths; therefore, they never fully sound natural.
MusicLab is a Russian company that specializes in developing virtual instruments, primarily guitar-based. For example, their list of products includes such plugins as Realstrat, RrealLPC (Les Paul Custom), Realrick (Rickenbacker), and the eight-string RealEight. But the Realguitar plugin implies emulation of acoustic guitars.
The developers promise an excellent realistic sound, thanks to high-quality sampling, the possibility to use with MIDI-keyboard, a lot of articulations with noises, guitar-specific tricks, strumming, and fingerpicking techniques.
The GD-6 plugin is based on the Guild D-40 custom edition electro-acoustic guitar. Samples were recorded using a pair of microphones and built-in pickups. The creators claim they managed to create a plugin, which can surprise you with realistic sound because all samples were created very profoundly and take into account minor nuances of playing.
Note that you will need additional software to use the GD-6 Acoustic Guitar. It is the UVI Workstation 3 player, which you can download for free from the Acousticsamples site.
GD-6 plugin is an excellent option for those who want a virtual instrument in the form of a Guild D-40 guitar. The creators have worked hard to give it as realistic a sound as possible. It has just about every articulation setting you could need. And the unique Song Builder makes it as easy as possible to use.

Spicy Guitar is a free, physically modeled acoustic guitar synthesizer. This virtual acoustic guitar is designed to give you a pretty fascinating array of features that not many free plugins can claim to have in their arsenal.
It is another free virtual instrument that you can find on the DSK Music free software site. Although many free acoustic guitar plugins may not have excellent sound quality, AkoustiK GuitarZ overcame the stereotype and even added great-sounding effects.
The Session Guitarist Picked Acoustic library from Native Instruments gives you the first-class sound of a Martin 00-21 acoustic guitar. There is an intense sampling here that gives you the ultimate impression of realism.
The interface is neat, clean, and fun! I'm a visual person, and I love seeing the notes on the virtual neck. The way the keyboard is laid out is intelligent, giving total control over the type of strum, fret noise, slide, tremolo, and all the other little squeaks and articulations. The strum engine is a snap to work with and as powerful as you need it to be. I think they call it the "Struminator." The built-in rhythmic patterns usually give me exactly what I need, and if not. .. I can simply make adjustments or create my own patterns. All in all, RealGuitar is easy to use, sounds realistic, and sits perfectly in the mix. This is the first sample-based virtual guitar plug-in I've found that truly emulates the real thing. I've got pretty good ears and most of the time I cannot tell if it's real or RealGuitar. I feel like I'm playing again! Thank you, MusicLab, for creating such a great product. :-). I'm saving up to buy RealStrat and/or RealLPC.
