Hi all! I'm currently debating between oil-based and lacquer-based finishes for my new parquet floor. My brother swears by oil for its natural feel, but I've heard lacquer gives a tougher, more protective coating. I tried a small oil test patch once, and it felt warm underfoot. Still, I'm worried about regular reapplication. Which do you prefer?
